Background

Ms. Fowler was born and raised in Morristown, TN. She completed her undergraduate degree at Middle Tennessee State University in Public Relations and Marketing. After graduating, Ms. Fowler worked in human resources for Ernest & Young at their Cleveland, Ohio office. Shortly after joining EY, Ms. Fowler had a promotional opportunity with The Cortland Group, located just across the street from the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law, which sparked her interest in the legal system. Shortly after, she completed a paralegal program through Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. After obtaining her paralegal certification, Ms. Fowler began working at SKW with two corporate litigation attorneys and discovered through her experience that she wanted to be an attorney.

Ms. Fowler spent the first two years of her law school education at Cleveland Marshall School of Law. While there, she worked in Fair Housing Law, specifically working with marginalized groups. Ms. Fowler completed her final year of law school at Boston University, receiving her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall in 2003.

Ms. Fowler began her legal career as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office in Detroit, where she worked from 2008 until 2015. In 2015, Ms. Fowler had an opportunity to enter private practice, where she successfully managed a small firm practice from 2015 until 2017.

Her practice grew, and in 2017, she and Mr. Williams partnered to start their own firm, which has grown into DFWN, PLC.
